Markovic Academy of Soccer set out several years ago to help develop creative and skillful young players who could distinguish themselves technically on the soccer field. We have always created an environment where learning is natural, safe and enjoyable. We feel that the key component in a productive learning experience is a good staff of coaches with strong philosophical direction and leadership at the top.

Cesar Markovic, Academy Director, has always believed in the same ideals and has been very successful conveying his philosophy to players and coaches during the course of his career. His motto:

“One with the Ball” has been his trademark phrase throughout. “The ball needs to be an extension of the player’s foot. The player needs to be a master of the ball”. These ideas have been the driving force behind the development of all the players who have come into contact with Markovic Academy of Soccer in the past eleven years. Cesar believes strongly in his active role in the Academy as a coach. Most often than not the Director is a name and picture on a brochure that players see once in the week.
